Article 5 Non-Update

An interesting thing happens the first week of October in China.  They have a "trade fair" that is the largest in the world.  The government and most businesses shut down for an entire week.  I don't think there is anything to compare it to in America.

So an interesting thing is happening right now:  both our government and the Chinese government are shut down. Not working.

This means that we will have no news or updates or progress until next week at the earliest.

The American government shut down actually *shouldn't* cause problems for the rest of our adoption process.  We were glad to hear that news from our agency.  However, we do need the Chinese government to be working.  Thankfully, they are planning to be back next week.
